2016 Toyota Camry Bug Deflectors Reviews

1 review
I got a 4 window set for a 2016 Camry. The test fit was good, but the issue I had was the sticky strip which goes up inside the window channel is too low on the deflector. So with the window deflector installed... I can still see the edge of the sticky tape and its all the way up inside the channel. I do have some concern the deflector will fly out going down the road at 70 MPH due to not enough of the sticky tape is holding the deflector in the channel? I will keep the windows closed tight for about 3 days with the hope there is enough sticky tape to hold them in? The smoke deflector looks great on my dark gray car, but I don't like seeing the edge of the stick tape on 3 of 4 windows. Yes, one window is perfect so I know it's doable to get the stick tape lined up at factory so it fits all the way up inside the channel and not be seen once installed. I will keep them for now and if they stay in, I'll keep the 3 star review even though one of the aft door deflectors was scratched badly about 3' long as I took it from the packaging and it will not come out with basic plastic polish. Id post pictures but no way to do that on here it seems? The defectors come in a shrink wrapped on top of a piece of cardboard, you must be careful to get them out of the shrink wrap without scratching them. Made no difference for me on one of the aft deflectors was scratched as I removed it. If AVS has any suggestions on visible sticky tape after installation, I'd be grateful for the help....
